story This webpage is my jrs' tribute to hide's memory. hide (Matsumoto Hideto) was lead guitarist of the heavy metal japanese band X Japan, the band which gave him worldwide popularity. His style, his talent, and his fascinating personality guaranteed him a successful music career which grew when he left X Japan. Unfortunately, he died on 5th may 1998. The official version is suicide, although the facts and the truth about his death are still unknow.  We miss you, hide. The hide tribute adoptees program (pinku) began in 2002.
